Radon (Radium) is #86 on the periodic table of elements and kills about 21,000 people a year from lung cancer. Although it is an odorless and invisible gas, systems can be designed for any structure to prevent this from happening. During design stages, a rudimentary understanding of radon will allow you to ensure the safety of the occupants as well as add selling points for your bid or design. In buildings that have already been constructed, there are also many different ways to mitigate the potential risk or liability of radon induced lung cancer. In this webinar, you will learn what is expected now, and what changes will be happening in coming years as far as radon in commercial and residential construction.
