Architect / Engineer Excellence Award
This award recognizes an Architect or Engineer for professional excellence in exhibiting Skill, Integrity and Responsibility in the construction process.
Eligibility
Any General Contractor member or an Associate member may nominate an active or retired Architect / Engineer. Membership in the American Institute of Architects and / or Iowa Engineering Society is recommended.
Award
There will be one honoree each year who best exemplifies the tenets of the Master Builders of Iowa organization: Skill, Integrity and Responsibility. The nominees will be judged by the way they have performed both with the construction industry and in their communities as well.
Selection Committee
The Selection Committee is made up of an MBI Past president, a retired Architect / Engineer, a National AGC Director and an Associate Member.
Criteria
Submissions will be judged according to the following key elements:
- Contributions to the Community
- Construction Projects
- Contributions to the Industry
- Professionalism in Business Dealings
- Design Drawings and Specifications
