Public Policy Reference Manual
The latest version of the MBI Public Policy Reference Manual is now available. This document is a compilation of MBI’s position on a wide array of public policy issues and has been updated to reflect current MBI views. You will find that the Policy Manual serves as the basis for determining positions that the lobbying team must take at the Iowa Capitol, while also helping to guide the Association in its efforts to make Iowa more pro-business, pro-construction.
MBI works tirelessly to represent the commercial construction industry at the local, state and federal levels. No other organization is positioned to play such an active role in the entire public policy-making spectrum. The MBI Board of Directors, the Government Affairs Committee, the MBI-PAC Committee and MBI’s public affairs professionals take seriously their role and responsibility in articulating a pro-business, pro-construction message and the Public Policy Reference Manual is another example of how MBI is the “Voice of the Iowa Construction Industry.”
