Online Safety Training

Online safety training is now available at your fingertips through our new interactive online courses.  Many companies try to figure out when and how to train their employees without taking them out of the field.  MBI has partnered with an online training company to bring a wide range of courses to the construction industry via the internet.  Courses are available to anyone, at any location, that has both a PC and an internet connection.  A benefit of online safety training is that courses can be taken at your employee’s leisure.  Once a course is started, attendees have at least six months to complete it.

The Online Virtual University is a third party company that the Master Builders of Iowa has partnered with to make online training available to members and non-members.  All aspects of the training, from registration to payment are conducted by the Online Virtual University, not the Master Builders of Iowa.

The Master Builders of Iowa have negotiated a discount for MBI members with the Online Virtual University.  MBI members are able to receive 15% off the listed price of the online training (discount does not apply to the 10 and 30 Hour OSHA courses).  In order to receive this discount, MBI Members must enter a discount code upon check out.  CLICK HERE for the discount code.
