Train-The-Trainer for Forklifts and Scissors / Boom Lifts
Don’t miss two exceptional training opportunities at this year’s Construction Industry Convention!
Train-The-Trainer For Forklifts is a training that many contractors have been asking for. OSHA requires that before an employer can allow an employee to operate a forklift, that would-be operator must complete specific training. OSHA also requires that an evaluation of an operator’s performance occur once every three years. Attendees at this session will learn to train and evaluate their employees for forklift operation that meets the OSHA requirements. This class is being held on Wednesday, February 22nd from 7:00 am – 11:00 am.
Similar to forklifts, those who operate boom and or scissors lifts must be trained in proper operating procedures. When a contractor has someone on staff who can conduct this training it will quickly be done as opposed to waiting until a third party can come and do it. This Train-The-Trainer for Scissors and Boom Lifts class is being offered Wednesday, February 22nd from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. This is the perfect class for foremen, superintendents, field operation managers or safety directors.
Bill Speth with Professional Safety Solutions is the instructor for both courses. He has been involved in teaching construction related classes for many years and understands what goes on at a site and how craft-persons think.
