Safety Award Breakfast
Join us for breakfast on Monday, February 1st at 9:00 am as we present the MBI Outstanding Safety Achievement Award to a General Contractor members as well as a Specialty Contractor member. Along with the awards presentation, a keynote will be given by University of Northern Iowa’s Head Football Coach Mark Farley. His keynote presentation Essential Leadership: Coaching a Team That Wants to Play will make your day and help shape your leadership for the future.
Essential Leadership: Coaching A Team That Wants to Play: What does it take to develop a team from a small state university and into a national powerhouse? Putting the organization first before self and giving it your all. Skill, integrity, and responsibility combined with a winning attitude, training, strategic goals, team play, and love of the game characterize Mark Farley’s football teams at the University of Northern Iowa, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Defeating teams and circumstances that defied the odds year after year have become the trademark of this leader coach and his teams. All of these attributes and more are the characteristics of a winning team whether on the Gridiron or in the Construction Business. Learning to compete hard and win is the name of the game and Coach Farley has agreed to share some of his insights and enthusiasm on how to get the job done in good times and bad.
