Master Builders of Iowa

The Master Builders of Iowa recognizes member’s accomplishments through award programs that highlight excellence in industry initiatives and that represent the tenets of our Association:  Skill – Integrity – Responsibility.  The awards and recognition programs celebrate the success of MBI member companies and spotlight individual and company-wide accomplishments.

You’re invited to attend this year’s award programs scheduled to be held during the Association’s 100th Annual Convention – February 20-22, 2012 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

MBI Outstanding Safety Achievement Award – Join us for breakfast on Tuesday, February 21st at 7:30 am as we present the MBI Outstanding Safety Achievement Award to a General Contractor member as well as a Specialty Contractor member.  Along with the awards presentation, a keynote will be given by Dr. Jerry Teplitz, Teplitz Enterprises entitled Increasing Your Selling Power to New Levels of Excellence.

MBI Masters Awards – This very popular annual event is schedule to be held Tuesday, February 21st at 12:00 noon.  In addition to the announcement of the prestigious 2012 Masters Awards honoring industry excellence, special guest and keynote presenter Sal Giunta, Retired Army Hero, Medal of Honor Recipient and Highly Decorated Staff Sergeant.

Build Iowa Award – Inspired by the MBI motto, the Build Iowa Award is presented annually to the individual who best exemplifies the tenets of our organization:  Skill, Integrity and Responsibility.  You and members of your organization are invited to join your fellow colleagues and peers to celebrate and honor the 2012 Build Iowa Award recipient at a breakfast and award ceremony on Wednesday, February 22nd at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines beginning at 8:00 am.  Special keynote presentation by Steve Siemens, President and Founder of Siemens People Builders.
