You’re invited to attend the Master Builders of Iowa’s 100th Anniversary Celebration!  The Build Strong – Legends in Concert will be the event you won’t want to miss!

On February 20, 2012, at the newly renovated 60 million dollar Veterans Auditorium Iowa Events Center, MBI has arranged to bring Las Vegas to Des Moines, Iowa.  In celebration of the 100th Anniversary, TrueNorth Companies in conjunction with the Master Builders of Iowa, will make the Las Vegas stage come alive!  The headliners are famous acts that play on the best stages throughout America and this line up will provide a great entertainment mix of country, blues, soul and rock and roll.

The Master Builders of Iowa is the recognized leader of the construction industry in the State of Iowa.  Founded in 1912, it is one of 100 chapters of the Associated General Contractors of America, the oldest, strongest, most influential and most widely respected construction associations in the country. The Association provides its members with a comprehensive array of educational, safety, environmental, labor, legal, legislative, public relations, and industry relations products and services. Experience and innovation in servicing our membership is the MBI difference.

We will be holding a Miniature Golf Tournament in the Iowa Construction Expo Exhibit Hall on February 21, 2012! All attendees will be able to participate in the tournament during the open hours of the Exhibit Hall. There will be a drawing at the end of the Industry Reception for a Grand Prize from all scorecards that are turned in! In order to qualify for the Grand Prize, participants must have the exhibitor from each hole sign their score card.

A great and rewarding way to “get involved” is to nominate or participate in the recognition programs that the MBI has to offer.  The Master Builders of Iowa recognizes member’s accomplishments through award programs that highlight excellence in industry initiatives and that represent the tenets of our Association:  Skill – Integrity – Responsibility.

Each year, the MBI recognition programs are sought after by the best in Iowa’s commercial construction industry.  The awards and recognition programs celebrate the success of MBI member companies and spotlight individual and company-wide accomplishments.  They are a wonderful way to recognize leaders in the industry as well as award outstanding projects.
