INVITATION TO GET INVOLVED
MBI committees and task forces are a derivative of the Association’s Strategic Plan and are responsible for generating the many services, new ideas and policies that reflect the needs of an ever changing industry and our collective membership.
During the latter part of 2004, the Association undertook a strategic initiative to organize a “leadership pool” from which member volunteers could be identified and recruited for select task force and committee initiatives. To date approximately 190 volunteers are identified and registered to participate in the Leadership Pool. To view the list, click on the link below.
The volunteer effort is critical to the success of our Association and the betterment of our industry. Most committee and task forces meet three to four times per year for approximately 2 hours per meeting. Below is a link to view the listing of existing Committee and Task Force job descriptions along with a sign-up form for you to join a committee or task force. You may also choose to sign up to be placed in the Leadership Pool and wait to be called upon at a later time when the need arises.
