The Construction Essentials Series

The Construction Essentials series was developed by the Education Committee in response to member requests for more localized and more frequent training.  By bringing training  directly to your communities, we are able to provide essential educational programs with little travel time resulting in less time away from the job.

The Construction Essentials series is designed for a variety of individuals working in the construction industry. Each program addresses specific issues and concerns facing individuals from the administrative level to those working in the field to upper management.

The purpose of the Construction Essentials Series is to:

  • Provide current information on topics of interest to the construction industry
  • Increase professionalism in the construction community
  • Provide a forum for continuing education for construction professionals

Classes are held each month in numerous locations throughout the state of Iowa and include lunch for the participants. There is a nominal fee of $15.00 per person to cover the meal.

We are excited to offer new topics each year and feel these sessions will be valuable and informative to all who attend. There will be three fall sessions (details listed below)  held in September, October, and November and three spring sessions in March, April, and May.
