2010 Summer Meeting Delayed for One Year 

Upon recommendation of the MBI Convention and Travel Committee, the MBI Board of Directors has made the decision not to schedule the MBI Summer Meeting this July as has been the practice for many years.  The primary reason has to with the suitability of the current resort facility at West Lake Okoboji to provide adequate accommodations for members and their families.  The second consideration is simply the state of the economy coupled with concern that attendance will likely be adversely affected as a result.  The Board of Directors has asked the Convention and Travel to Committee to reconsider next year in 2011, subject to changes in the factors noted above.
