The 6th year of the MB EYE on the Future Program was comprised of 22 leaders. In addition to extensive leadership training and networking each class is asked to identify and implement a class project that will involve an industry or MBI improvement initiative. The 2009/2010 class decided to develop a pilot program for continued executive training. The Executive Launch Program will be a series of informative seminars, mentor opportunities, and related materials that will expand upon the participant’s professionalism among industry colleagues, their employees, as well as the industry’s relationship with other related businesses. The curriculum will include the following areas of instruction:
- INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION,
- CONTRACT LAW/RISK MANAGEMENT
- BUSINESS FINANCE
- ETHICS/BUSINESSDEVELOPMENT
- HUMAN RESOURCES
- STRATEGIC PLANNING
Each participant will make an Individual Leadership Plan. This will be a simple bullet point summary of their class experience. Individuals will use this plan as a tool/guideline when meeting with their mentor.
