The 3rd year of the MB EYE on the Future Program was comprised of 14 leaders. In addition to extensive leadership training and networking, each class is asked to identify and implement a class project that will involve an industry or MBI improvement initiative. The 2006/2007 class decided to focus on MBI member communication. They formed a task force that supported and implemented one of the objectives in MBI’s strategic plan.
OBJECTIVE 3 – Improve Member Communication with Emphasis on MBI’s Value Proposition and Return on Investment (ROI)
- Identification of internal targets and the customization process
- Implementing new delivery of communicating MBI’s Value Proposition
- Implementation of a brand new communication process
The result was a new client customization, addressing who and how they receive communications from MBI. In addition, a revision of the MBI website, the new quarterly publication “InsideMBI,” the electronic newsletter “FastTrack” and the addition of “Ask MBI,” which answers common questions posed to MBI. Feedback has been positive from our members and we thank this class for all of their hard work!
