Master Builders of Iowa

 

Mr. Kleppe is starting his 16^th legislative session at the Iowa Capitol, and ninth representing the Master Builders of Iowa. Before joining MBI, Mr. Kleppe served as a Legislative Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Dykema Gossett, PLLC. Previous work experience includes serving as the Director of Public Affairs for the Iowa Soybean Association and as Legislative Assistant in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman James A. Leach (R-IA). Mr. Kleppe also served as a political appointment at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Presidential Personnel in the Executive Office of the President during the George H.W. Bush Administration in Washington, D.C.   Chad grew up in Eastern Iowa and is a 1990 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He also received a Masters of Public Administration degree, with an emphasis in public policy, from Drake University in 1998.
