Hearing loss among construction workers is commonplace but doesn’t need to be. Everyone wants to be able to hear their grandchildren sing a song or tell us about their new friend but unless action is taken when we’re young we’ll have difficulty doing so. OSHA construction regulations don’t require a written program like is found in general industry but there are other measures that contractors should do to prevent their employees from losing their hearing.
Hearing loss is a compensable workers comp claim which might result in buying hearing aids for retired employees for life. Join this webinar to learn what steps are needed to keep your employees from losing their hearing.
