There needs to be more to a fall protection program than issuing a harness and lanyard to every employee. There needs to be instruction on how to wear a harness, how to build guardrails, how to rescue someone who has fallen and how to preplan to avoid the fall hazard completely. Employees attending this day-long seminar will leave with the knowledge and confidence that they can successfully lessen the likelihood that someone will fall from elevation at one of their jobs.
