BIM Training

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. Typically it uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and construction. The process produces the Building Information Model (also abbreviated BIM), which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and quantities and properties of building components.

Please contact Tom Suckow if you are interested in future BIM courses.

Construction Industry Safety Conference

A few years ago there was an opportunity to work with the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Council to establish a safety conference that was state-wide for the construction industry. The Iowa Construction Industry Safety Conference was developed and has become Iowa’s largest event promoting worker safety for the construction industry. The event provides 21 professional safety topics in one day, presented by safety professionals. The conference structure allows attendees to go to one safety presentation each hour throughout the day. IOSHA also plays an active role, presenting information so the construction industry can better understand OSHA requirements and proper safety procedures.

Safety Seminars

Today’s contractor can not afford to ignore safety and the environment. A safety trained workforce is far less likely to experience accidents thus lowering a company’s workers compensation premiums as well as lessening the amount of lost time and other expenses from accidents not to mention the cost of OSHA citations for safety violations. MBI consultants will make sure your workforce is trained in all the necessary areas.
