ACE Mentor Program
Learning about the construction world requires direct contact with the workers and profesionals in the field. For this reason, the industry is eager to either visit your schools or to have you visit construction jobsites. These visits pretend to give the public a better understanding of the possibilities and environment of the construction industry. In addition, students, academic advisors and parents can take advantage of the national recognized ACE Mentor Program. In this program not only contractors visit your school to conduct extra curricular construction education activities, but as part of the program, the students also visit real construction jobsites while being involved in real architectural, construction and engineering projects. These mentor program is ran by profesionals in the construction industry and provide scholarships, career guidance, and leadership mentorship to the Iowa youth.
